Cooks Lot Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2012

A blend of 60% Semillon and 40% Sauvignon Blanc with all fruit coming from Orange, New South Wales.

Nearly clear in appearance with a light green hue. Quite an aromatic wine with green pea, cut herbs and passionfruit leaping out from the glass. The palate has good weight but a little light on the flavour I felt. Pea and passionfruit characters slide through softly. Acid is soft. Have with food, fish and chips would go well.

Not a wine I would buy, but the ladies I shared it with enjoyed it.
