Pizzini Pinot Grigio 2014

This is the cheaper of the two Pinot Grigio in the Pizzini line up. It shows varietal traits but is just a tad simple for mine.

Honey puff and field flowers, that honey theme runs through this wine from go to whoa. Some noticable acid and the fruit only just manages to hold it. There's some textural interest which does just sit on the palate leaving a good length behind.

I wouldn't buy this, but I'd have no hesitation ripping into the Whitefields Pinot Grigio.
