Bimbadgen Estate Vermentino 2014

I like this and I'd happily have a couple of glasses whilst soaking up some sunshine.

It gets going with lemon zest and lemon sherbet aromas. Even some lemonade type characters waft on by.

Clean and refreshing, this has summer time and prawns written all over it. A slight lingering texture highlighted by fresh pear adds appeal before the lemon zest washes back through leaving a crisp acidity. Put that texture down to a small portion spending time in oak for two months. A nice touch by winemaker Rauri Donkin.

Available at the cellar door or online. Members can pick this up for under $20 which makes it a great deal.

Very good.
