Luke Lambert Crudo Rosé 2014

Rosé like this puts hairs on your chest. And to be perfectly honest, I've yet to have a Rosé which is anything like it. Mind you, you're either going to love it or tip it.

For me it's captivating. It asks so many questions and I don't particularly mind that I don't have the answers.

A blend of Yarra Valley Shiraz (80%) and Nebbiolo, this is dry and satisfying. Wicked aromas of mandarin peel and oranges but a powerful spirit type aroma wafts on by. Mouth filling texture with a drying chalky like finish.

Makes you really consider what dizzy heights Rosé can get to. And again for Lambert, he's pushing some serious boundaries to get great results.

Very good.
