Tim Adams Riesling 2016

Before picking up some Thai take-away for dinner, I couldn't resist but to grab a bottle of Riesling. I found this in the bottle shop fridge for $19 - the quality of Australian Riesling at very reasonable prices cannot be disputed. This oozes bargain factor deluxe.

It's been a while since I've looked at a Tim Adams wine and perhaps I need to visit the range more often.

Bursting with citrusy fruit, aromas of bath salts and white florals spring to life. Clean and crisp, well structured acidity is joined by some minerality and a talc finish. Yummo! I'd go back and buy this time and again without doubt.

Drinking perfectly now, there's some ageing potential here too - but why wait?

93/100 - Very good

Region: Clare Valley
RRP: $22 (bought for $19)
