Tim Smith Wines Bugalugs Shiraz 2016
Cool name. Great barbecue drinking.
A Barossa Shiraz with 8% Eden fruit plus a drop of old vine Mataro for good measure.
A delicious wine spending less than 12 months oak, it's a bright and primary Barossa Shiraz screaming steak night!
Meaty aromas of rare steak and beef tartare, no fining or filtration took place.
Generous juicy dark berry fruit fills the mouth with a spicy finish which seems reluctant to retire urging another sip. It'd be rude not to go back for more. Sessional stuff this.
