Kilikanoon Killerman's Run Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Kilikanoon's entry level Cabernet ticking the boxes. Handy value too for around $20.

All the varietal characters are there. Black fruits and berries do all the leg work. There's a keen whiff of capsicum too. The mid palate comes across a little thin - they do call Cabernet the donut variety after all. Some leafiness and green herbs ride assuringly beside those dark fruits. A handy go-to.

Drink now to five years.
