Gundog Estate Shiraz 2016

Strap yourself in - we have a live one here. After a quick whiff I reckon I could keep my snout in the trough til bottle's end, easy.

The vibrant fruit dances about with youthful exuberance. Two percent Viognier was co-fermented to give some lift, but the fruit is already on its toes.

Medium bodied, juicy berries, there's a smattering of pepper and clove. Oak and fruit mesh together seamlessly. A blanket is cast across the palate covering it consistently dishing out a comforting cuddle on exit. Delicious cool climate Shiraz. Run here.

Drink now to eight years.
