Chateau Yaldara Cabernet Franc 2016

Those fans of big heavy wines will get knee deep here - I have no doubt.

It's ripe (15%) and weighed down by some oak, but amongst that, some blueberries and blackberry jam emerge. Black fruits flood the mouth with a sniping appearance from sarsparilla at the death. A sapping dry finish takes a little bit of the shine off what came before. All up, it just doesn't flow as well as I'd like.
