Cooks Lot Allotment 9 Handpicked Pinot Noir 2016

Gee I like the aromas here. So pretty and inviting. Think red flowers, ripe strawberries, red currants and some twiggy action.

The aromas, for me, are by far the highlight. All that positive momentum slows down when tasting. Peppery spice, strawberry and dark plum fruit moves stride for stride but without too much flair. Touches of fennel run in late. The finish is long and the spice ticks away in its own reserved way.

Drink now to five years.
