Robert Oatley Signature Series Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

A tidy Cabernet picked off a restaurant list. Clearly not a freshly open bottle, it came across settled with easy drinking appeal - it worked in its favour.


Dark berry fruits were soft, rounded and plentiful. Blackcurrant leaf and dried herbs added savoury nuances as did a kick of earth and a touch of bay leaf. Mouthfilling and long to finish, good stuff.

Drink now to six years.
