Ten Minutes By Tractor Coolart Road Pinot Noir 2016

A beautiful drinking Pinot. I find the density of this site alluring.

100% wild fermentation, 15-25 days on skins, 20% new oak for 12 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered. The F Block from the Coolart Road site sits approximately 72m above sea level. The fruit on this site ripens two weeks on average earlier than the Judd and Wallis and 19 days earlier than McCutcheon - clearly a warmer site.

Aromas of dry red flowers and unmistakable cherries. Tinges of violets too. Some blue fruit sings softly in the mouth with darker plum and black cherries late with more woody characters present. Fine soft spices roll out to a long finish. Love it.

Drink now to 8 years.
