Driftwood Artifacts Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

A Cabernet that doesn't get the juices flowing. Sure it does the job, but the depth for this one is something that seems to be lacking.

Varietal traits evident but the ride of dark fruit seeping deep into your veins doesn't eventuate. It's almost as though the wine wants to play but not engage on a more personal level. Skimming the surface is what appears to be the game plan. A reasonable length, but I'd prefer others.

Drink now to six years.
