A stylish example of what Roussanne can be when treated with creativity yet allowing it to demonstrate personality.
An engaging wine from the outset. Apple cider, cinnamon, barley, white flowers, cream and nougat - what a start! Ten months on lees has ensured a fine grip sits on the tongue. It feels 'skinsy' to use a term, the width is captivating. Stonefruit slowly unfurls as does a squeeze of citrus juice. A soft spread of vanilla cream through the mouth before a fine spice tingles on the finish. It's hard to escape the charm on show.
Drink now to ten years.
