Reliable Shiraz from Margaret River with a dollop of Malbec (3%) and a drop of Viognier (1%).
Quite tight and tannic. Dark berries, earth and twigs. Some clove and cardamom swing into action when things get moving. It all seems a little bogged down though, without the energy I expected. The fruit ticks the boxes though. A solid Shiraz from the west.
Drink now to eight years.
