Barossa Grenache more in the old school realm, that is, ripe fruit with that boiled lolly thing going on.
From 101 year old vines. Sweet raspberry and strawberry fruit threads of earthiness. The fruit seems quite flat and on the heels of its feet. Silty tannin feels to close with a soft peppery spice. It's okay but the asking price is hefty for what you get.
Drink now to five years.
