Pizzini Brachetto 2018

A quick look through the Qwine records shows this is the second Brachetto to make it to the bench. An Italian variety not all that common in Australia, this is some sweet fizz to keep your "I only drink sweet wine" mother or mother-in-law amused during the holiday season.

Crown seal, the bubbles explode from the bottle on opening but there weren't many bubbles in the glass after the event. Going too hard too early perhaps?

It tastes of sweetish strawberries and not much else. Chilling this hard would make a very easy slurp on a sweltering day. Partially freeze and give a shake and you get a handy slushy too. It's hard to deny the refreshment factor.

Drink now.
