Leeuwin Estate Pinot Noir Chardonnay Brut 2015

Tidy fizz from the west. A great aperitif, no question.

Delicious complexity and fine beads of bubbles capture the attention early. There's plenty of personality in the glass too - sourdough, fresh lemon juice, subtle cashew nuttiness and some nougat for good measure. A generous and persistent finish makes it even more pleasurable. I'd have a glass or three easy.

Drink now to five years.
