This beautiful American Pinot Noir came across the bench for something different. I could drink a lot of it, that's for sure.
Smokey with undergrowth, sauteed mushrooms, red plums, baked raspberry and dark cherry fruit all flow into one another. The concentrated fruit is super smooth and luscious to taste. Add a generous sprinkle of black pepper scattered atop for another level of interest. Although four years young, give it some air. A prickly and tangy lemon acidity landed early but settled with time in the glass. Great stuff.
