The Synergy Shiraz is a blend of barrels from a range of Andrew Thomas' Hunter Valley sites.
Sweetish blueberries and cedar get my attention early. Aromas of purple fruit take time to chime in. The power and drive through the mouth are noticeable, particularly when sat beside the Two of a Kind. It's a wine to embrace with two hands that's for sure. Dark berries and fine spices plus a slight acid crunch make this all the more appealing to enjoy with food. Autumn long lunches with plentiful meat dishes and woodfired pizza would rip this up.
Drink now to six years.
