Blackbilly Pinot Gris 2018

The image doesn't depict the rose gold appearance. I find that visually appealing in a Pinot Gris but others may differ.

Soft aromas of pear and mandarin peel are met with some texture and subtle creaminess in the mouth. Quite drying to finish, it's almost sapping to close with a lingering fine spice. A Pinot Gris that would be better suited to food.

Drink now.

  1. A warmer season and as such more colour than usual. The bottle pic is a generic picture (pulled from website looking at resolution) and not of the actual wine - a photo of which can be supplied on request!

    1. Keep the blush colour - it looks great! Bottle pics are drawn from the winery websites (which appears the site needs updating) but I'm happy to use supplied images.
