From vines planted in 1969, the 2019 vintage presented lower yields and later ripening than the 2018.
There's a good mouthfeel with some grip. Lemons, old school lemonade, lemongrass and lime pith all do their bit to add interest. Good width through the mouth is presented too. Crisp and cleansing acid leaves a zesty finish. A bucket of prawns and a glass for me.
Drink now or age to ten years.
