You are not left wondering after taking a look at this Syrah from Levantine Hill. There's so much going on.
Swirl the glass to release bacon hock, char, red plums, black pepper and five spice. The fruit is smooth with touches of blood orange and a bright red apple acidity. The acid almost has a crunch factor. Curiously, the mid-palate thins out more than expected taking it back a couple of pegs. Still, if interest is your thing, you won't be disappointed perusing a glass.
Drink now to eight years.
