Bellwether Wrattonbully Shiraz 2017

Super smart Shiraz from the hands of Sue Bell. I could sit on a glass of this for some time just embracing the beautiful scents.

Sourced from Wrattonbully, the fruit was cropped thinned twice. Quite a laborious task yet yielding fabulous results ensuring greater flavour concentration. 50% whole bunches were used too.

Licorice, black earth, black tea and blackcurrant jelly spill from the glass. Touches of fennel too. The fruit coasts through the mouth with measured intensity but maximum pleasure. Delivering great width and length, there's a juicy factor here too which I find absorbing. Fine spices are scattered atop a classy bone dry finish with chalky and dusty tannins. Oh, this is a beauty.
