From the winery awarded Queensland's best at the 2018 Queensland Wine Awards comes this concentrated Chardonnay from the Granite Belt.
There's some good body here, something you can sink your teeth into. And while it's not entirely an old school type, there's a vibe which reaches out and just pulls you closer.
Rich with white stonefruit holding court, dehydrated pineapple swipes through on the back of butterscotch and creamy oak with a cheeky drop of lime juice and flinty appeal. There's a strong match stick presence too but the stone fruit concentration perhaps is tweaked that little bit too much for mine. With all the key elements lined up, it lingers long and another top up is well worth it. So is the asking price.
Drink to six years.
