A great Hunter Valley Chardy for $25.
Sourced from two vineyards, the fruit was whole bunch pressed and fermentation stopped before malo could take hold. 30% new French oak was used for eight months.
Lemon juice is fused with vanilla cream and partnered by grilled fig plus white nectarine. There's an endearing drive about its manner and a well balanced intensity for the win. Chill down, sit back and chill out kinda stuff.
Drink to six years.
