Peregrine Pinot Noir 2017

I hired a bike and rode from Arrowtown to Gibbston last week. If you're ever in that neck of the woods, do it! The scenery is stunning. Naturally, I needed to hydrate so it only made sense to drop in to Peregrine. It makes sense, they were on the track... A solid Central Otago Pinot Noir here.

The cellar door was chock a block when I arrived. The two ladies did their best to appease the masses but were like salmon working hard to get upstream. A quick fire tasting it was in the end.

This is all dark fruits and pretty dried red petal scents. Some earthiness meets bright acidity. Soft and fine tannins to close, this will please many.

Drink to six years+

91/100
