Thomas Wines Fordwich Hill Semillon 2019

An expressive and playful Semillon from the western fringe of the Hunter Valley that's ready to go now.

Visit the Thomas Wines cellar door and part of the tasting experience is having soil samples placed in front of you. This is a great way to get an understanding of the fruit particularly when you see the range of soil samples Andrew Thomas sources fruit from. The soils from this wine are deep red volcanic from the Broke-Fordwich sub region.

Light on its feet, there's some unassuming depth about it. Scents of nectarine kick things off demonstrating riper fruit traits. Rounded in the mouth, it possesses a wonderful zip and crisp finish. Great stuff.

Drink now to three years.
