I was offered the opportunity to have a look at the 2018 Thomas Wines reds prior to their release. This Sweetwater oozes adorable precision.
Bright and dainty, it's still quite young and will grow into its shoes. I suspect it will show better in a year or two. Red and blue berries sit at the core laced by pretty blue and purple flower aromas. A hint of dried herbs tucks itself away coming to the fore late. Classy stuff and a wine that will only improve. As always, a terrific buying for the money.
Drink to eight years.
