Arfion Snowflake Savignin 2018

I feel this is a wine which you'll either love or not so much. A good aperitif as the evening chill starts to set in for some perhaps?

With a cloudy apple appearance in the glass, scents of lemon myrtle and apple juice with a cheesy thing going on to start things off. Quite fine in delivery, it seems to skim across the surface. Some Mediterranean tonic feels are offered as a firmish grip of texture latches on. Skinsy feels then seemingly hold on tight - curiously, this wine was only on skins overnight after being destemmed then wild yeast fermented. Touches of custard apple and a creaminess push through on a good finish. A wine that seems quite busy with lots going on and raises more questions than answers, well at least I thought so. I couldn't finish a glass but I know many would leap for this style.

Drink to three years.
