Langmeil Rough Diamond Grenache 2019

An easy slurp. Lovers of medium bodied wines would enjoy wading through a glass or two of this.

Sure there is some sweetness but it's not the boiled lollie type you see in some Grenaches which are over done. It's sleek profile leans itself to large pours and chilling out. Red cherries, red apple skin, raspberries and red flower aromas all shoulder one another in an effort to get your attention early with the raspberries getting the upper hand. Fine spices are scattered atop a moreish palate. Dashes of pepper aren't far from the action but the juicy berry fruits ride comfortably. The mid-palate thins out a touch quicker than expected but another sip will fill the void. Tasty and then some.

Drink to five years.
