A big, sturdy blend coming at you from the Barossa's Langmeil Estate. Two varieties I've never seen together, but it works.
Generous, and firm, this is a drying and sapping wine. Available at the cellar door only, it's all black fruits and black berries. Some leather and cured meats add savoury pleasure as do some earthy spices. Sapping dusty tannins draw moisture from the mouth - a slow cooked meal or a steak awaits.
