Sourced from the Adelaide Hills, this Chardonnay comes from two vineyards.
There's some density here. Yellow peaches and caramel swarm and charge for your attention early. Seeing eight months French oak, 20% of which was new, a touch of cream and vanilla have been imparted. Dashes of lemon before warming spices slide through the mouth leaving a gentle tickle to perhaps persuade another sip. It does feel weighty though, and I get the sense I need some food with it.
Drink now to three years.
