Off the retail shelves, this 2016 is still about despite the 2017 being the current release. A good wine to tuck into for those who like a Pinot that's not too sophisticated but has some depth.
Earthy and gravelly early, red cherries and dark plums surge as graphite feels tack on the end. Blackcurrant lands on the mid-palate with a dusting of baking spices hanging long. Drying tannins are puckering and give a cocoa like finish. A handy wine for sure.
