I've sampled a few Langhorne Creek wines in recent weeks. Generosity is a hallmark of the district and this release from Wild and Wilder is true to form.
Dense black plums, cedar and choc mint skip around initially before some charred meatiness and a dusting of black earth. Brown spices add a tickle. Some good elements are present but it just seems to chug along in a low gear. I'm waiting for the clutch to be dropped for some action.
Drink to five years.
