Swirl the glass and it's a pleasant awakening with aniseed and fennel kicking things off. Generous black and blue fruits adorn a mouth filling wine. There's some oomph here but the smooth delivery seduces. Touches of Christmas cake and cola add interest with baking spices and undergrowth drawing you closer. Still a little tense, longevity is in its veins. Over a few days of tasting is exhibited its best self offering a forest berry pie tease on a long and persistent finish. Big love here.
