Meerea Park Alexander Munro Shiraz 2018

Big and sturdy, this is a wine that needs to chill out and cool its heels. Still tight after three days of tasting, longevity will be its friend.

It's one of those wines I'd like to see again in a few years when it will be closer to its drinking window.
Black plums, a flash of red plums late, fine rubs of red earth but the noose is pulled tight with a tension evident. Cedar and clove slide in comfortably with a hint of Chinese Five Spice that lingers long. Your patience will reward in spades in coming years.

Drink 2023 for we beyond a decade.
