A pleasant medium bodied Shiraz Viognier from the Canberra district that slides down with absolute ease.
This wine sees a dollop (3%) of Viognier and 30% whole bunch Shiraz before seeing twelve months in new and used French oak.
A bright hue greets the eye as red cherry and red cranberry fruit dance with ease. Hints of clove and dried herb mingle in the background demonstrating a shyness to come forward. Wonderfully weighted, a fine white pepper spice glides through the mouth and clutches to a seemingly relentless finish. A hint of lemon acidity steps forward on close. It's a wine sure to please. I'd happily have a glass or two.
Drink to six years.
