These Terre à Terre wines don't disappoint. I've been privileged to check out the Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Shiraz and Reserve and they've all impressed. There's an fabulous humility about the way they carry themselves and this Cabernet Franc Shiraz is no different.
I'm captivated by the delicacy of this blend. A gentle crème brulèe and caramel type aroma wafts through early. The fruit is beautifully handled and strides along almost removing any chance of friction with the surface. A 63/37 blend, it steadily gains momentum that gravitates to the mid-palate and zones in. Dusty feels, dark chocolate and dried herbs add layers of pleasure. A terrific medium bodied wine.
