A terrific Pinot Gris from the Mornington Peninsula's Willow Creek.
Smashing and then some, it is a wine which oozes cool yet walks with sophistication. An ever so subtle copper hue can be seen in the glass. Poached pear, slivers of cut green apple and gingernut biscuit stroll through the mouth. Finely textured almond meal feels add interest and intrigue leading to a delicately spiced finish. Classy stuff and then some.
Drink now to three years.
