Gerler Rosé 2020

Sunset slurps are done easy with pleasurable wines like these.

Sourced from the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale, this Grenache predominant Rosé has an onion skin and late afternoon sunset appearance in the glass. Some Merlot and Sangiovese also from the Hills find their way in here too. It's colour takes me back to the Victory Hotel in McLaren Vale - sitting back watching the day comes to a close as the sky is blanketed with stunning colour. I digress...

Rhubarb, watermelon husk and dried currants consume the mouth. Soft creamy feels and a lick of freeze dried strawberry also raises it's hand. Drying and made for food, soft sheets of tannin call for another sip. A good get.

Drink now.
