A curious blend of Chardonnay and Semillon that just works. Throw it at a roast chicken dusted with rosemary wine.
A non vintage release, it is made up of 2019 Chardonnay 2018 Semillon (60/40). The Semillon component saw 18 months on lees to build some texture and it certainly adds value to the end result. The Semillon also brings the acidity the Chardonnay didn't have (I am reliably informed).
Toasty aromas, it is bready with slivered almonds. A good whip crack of acidity makes it presence known after Bickford's lime cordial and raw cashews slide in. Good going.
Drink to five years.
