A tidy Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon from small producer Welland Wines.
Still quite young, this will flesh out more with time. Over several hours in the glass, it demonstrated some development too. Roasted peppers, cigar box, dried thyme and dark chocolate all pushed their case early. Generous blackcurrant and a subtle mintiness added further pleasure. Quite smooth and long to finish, tick, tick, tick.
