From a vineyard one kilometre away from Maslin Beach, shallow loam covers the limestone. Made with 25% whole bunches, it spends 12 months in large format French oak.
Red plums and dark berry fruits run deep. Swirl the glass and time reveals playful blue fruit. Oak plays a slight hand but complements the fruit well. Fine baking spices purr running a neat course through the mouth. Some respectable grip from the sandy tannins ensures this will live long. A fabulous wine which revealed itself beautifully over a few hours. Go here.
