Fun in the sun! Who says we're done with warm days just yet. A very approachable Prosecco coming at you with a dash of Pinot Noir to give it a blush appearance.
Mid last year, the Italian government approved the production of Prosecco Rosé, permitting the addition of Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) grapes to provide the rose colour.
This wine sees 11% Pinot Nero.
Strawberries and cream all the way, some textural interest shows its hand well. Dripping in freshness, a hint of mandarin peel and blackberries only add to its allure. A crisp finish boosts the refreshment factor but I keep coming back to that textural pleasure.
Drink now.
