Yelland and Papps Second Take Grenache 2020

Bunchy, cloudy, oozing delish. Dirty Grenache at its best.

When I say dirty, let it be known it is unfined and unfiltered showing the product unadulterated. A little cloudy in the glass but a whole lotta delish.

Raspberries and strawberries flood the nose. It's alive and bright - the essence of Grenache. Wonderfully savoury to taste as a result of 50% whole bunches on skins for 1-2 weeks, dried herbs and some earthiness dance to the beat but it's the bunches that play their hand. They add texture and weight to the mouthfeel adding fabulous length. Mushrooms, some woodsy spices chime in with a massage of fine soft pepper. So moreish and just oozing amazeballs. The best Second Take Grenache to date.
