Robert Oatley Wines have acquired some smart parcels of fruit in their portfolio. This Grenache comes from the Blewitt Spring sub-region of McLaren Vale. I dig this for a lazy night in.
A little weight with respectable drive, it is earthy with raspberry fruit and fine spices framing the palate. An enticing red flower perfume hooks you in before some time in the glass shows some meatiness and char as well. A respectable finish that has a moreish appeal, this is a smart wine all up.
