Imported French Grenache that is readily available at a chain store.
Firm and tight with some density, it is meaty where black fruits and black pepper take the stage. To taste and firm feels reign. Lovers of peppery Shiraz would enjoy this Grenache although I feel it needs food by its side to show its best. One of those take it or leave it type.
Drink to three years.
