Golden Grove Estate Tranquillo Bianco 2021

This is all picnics, big shady trees and people grazing on shared plates by the river. An easy, uncomplicated blend.

A blend of Vermentino, Sauvignon Blanc and White Muscat (67/17/16), this is a co-fusion of fruit from the Chalmers Merbein vineyard and Golden Grove Estate on the Granite Belt.

The skinsy element plays its hand (11% of the Vermentino was fermented on skins) showing a textured presence that is feathered through the mouth. White muscat can be seen adding Turkish Delight and prettiness. Some passionfruit, cut pear, green melon and the sneaky appearance of lemon juice all add to a joyous, crowd-pleasing wine.
