Probably best described as a light-bodied Shiraz, here is a Pinot Noir from Coonawarra.
Bright red fruits set the scene early on but they are firm and tense through the mouth. Red plums, earthiness and cherry fruit kick on. A scattering of spices leads to red apple acidity on close, this will drink better in a year or two.
Drink to 2024.
